Louisa Palmi is a composer, artist, and digital orchestra conductor. Her work focuses on creating immersive sound experiences using electronics, electroacoustics, field recordings, and 3D audio technology. She integrates artistic and scientific approaches to explore new ways of perceiving and understanding complex auditory phenomena.
Her work has been shown in presitgeous venues and fesivals all over the world such as IRCAM in Paris, C-lab in Taipei and MA/IN in Rome. She hold a Master in Electroacoustic composition from The Royal College of Music in Stockholm. Born in Tromsø, she has now returned to establish a base here.
Born in Gothenburg, she completed her bachelor’s studies at the Academy of Music and Arts in Gothenburg and L’École Supérieure de Musique et Danse in France, and recently earned her master’s degree in composition from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm.
She has composed music for companies and artists such as Haugen Productions, Malmö Stadsteater, Caroline Ringskog Ferrada-Noli, Kvalitetsteatern, Sveriges Radio, and Maria Guldbrandsø Tórgarð.
